Our mission
We want to help keep the traditional orchards, gardens and forests of the Taunus diverse and thriving. That is why we manage our own orchards without pesticides and combine certified beekeeping expertise with modern sensor technology and traceable DNA analyses. The result is pure, natural honey from our own apiary, produced locally and with a botanical origin you can trace.
Our story
From an orchard to our first bee colony.
What began in 2010 as a wish to improve pollination for our fruit trees led to our first bee colony. Today, we combine hands-on experience with our certifications in beekeeping consultancy and pollination beekeeping, while continuing to learn with every season.
Our colonies are based in Eschborn, Niederhöchstadt, Kronberg, Mammolshain and Bad Soden. Surrounded by traditional orchards, gardens and forests, they forage from a rich variety of plants that gives each of our honeys its distinctive character.

Which honey is right for me?
Our spring blossom honey is mild, floral and creamy, while our summer blossom honey is more aromatic and intense. Forest honey is bold, spicy and slightly bitter. You can compare all three honeys on our honey overview.
Where does BienenWeiss honey come from?
Our colonies are located in Eschborn, Niederhöchstadt, Kronberg, Mammolshain and Bad Soden. There, the bees gather nectar and honeydew from traditional orchards, gardens and forests in the Taunus. Why does honey become solid over time?
Crystallisation is a natural process and not a sign of added sugar. Honey naturally contains different proportions of glucose and fructose, so its composition determines whether it crystallises sooner or later. Spring blossom honey, for example, often becomes solid more quickly than forest honey.
How should I store honey?
Keep honey tightly sealed in a dry, dark place at a reasonably steady room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat; refrigeration is not necessary. It is best to always use a clean, dry spoon.
What does “DNA-tested honey” mean?

How can I buy the honey?
You can find current prices and availability on our honey page. Orders can be collected in Eschborn by arrangement or shipped within Germany.
What should I do if I find a bee swarm?
Keep some distance and leave the swarm as undisturbed as possible. Use Report a swarm to send us the location and optional photos. We will pass your report to beekeepers in the region. If a beekeeper near you can help, they will contact you directly.
