Summer blossom diversity in a jar
In summer, the forage around our apiaries is particularly varied. Depending on the location and flowering season, the bees find blackberry, clover, raspberry, black locust, cornflower and sunflower, among other plants. This gives summer blossom honey a bolder flavour than spring blossom honey while keeping it pleasantly balanced.
The linked DNA analysis shows which plants can actually be detected in a harvest. This makes the botanical composition of every analysed honey traceable rather than leaving it to taste alone.
